From the Homefront to the Front Lines

I am an Army veteran. I married a soldier. We raised four children — three of them answered the call to serve in the U.S. Army, and the fourth married a soldier. Service isn't just something our family does. It's who we are.

In 2019, my son-in-law deployed to Afghanistan. At the time, I owned a handmade soap company. I knew the weight of a combat load. I knew what soldiers carried — and what they couldn't afford to carry. So I got to work.

I created the first version of Gear Soap for him: a lightweight, zero-waste, dissolving soap sheet that left no trace, added no bulk, and solved a real operational problem.

Reinvented. Redeployed. Ready.

I closed my handmade soap company in 2023. Then in 2024, my youngest daughter joined the Army. Months later, my middle daughter followed. History repeated itself — and so did my mission.

I rebuilt Gear Soap from the ground up, this time with a singular focus: military innovation for field hygiene. Not artisanal. Not luxury. Operational. Engineered. Essential.

When my daughter's battle buddies started asking for them during Basic Training, I knew this wasn't just a mother's solution anymore. It was a warfighter's tool.
